Knowledge, Creativity, Retreats
27 June, 23
Someone really wise once said that knowledge is power, but knowledge about ourselves is empowerment. When I first decided to start organizing retreats I wanted to be really clear what my intention was. It’s the same intention I have when guiding people through movement and breathing. It’s to invite people to explore, express and expand. In different ways. In ways where they can tap deep into their bodies, deep into their breath, deep into their creative selves. Our genetic systems are encoded with the knowledge of creation, the knowledge about ourselves. The role of art, yoga and other practices is to simply awaken us to that knowledge, awaken us to our limitless, spaceless, timeless selves.
The retreat is more than practicing yoga in a different space. It's a community-building experience that allows you to not only deepen your practice but also connect with self and others in ways that heal, in ways that help you to get out of an autopilot mode and journey back into your heart. It’s a meeting of souls, together creating a safe space, where everyone is seen, heard, honored and recognised as they are.
Michael Gungor says: “We are all creators. Whether or not we create is not up to us. We are human, and creating is what we do. Every interaction, movement, and decision is creativity at work. We are all artists.”
